I wasn't sure how I would feel. I started normally, but was underdressed and with the cold wind it forced me to up the pace pretty much from the start. First mile at 9:19, then 8:14, 8:14, 8:15, 8:01, 7:36, 7:57, and came in at 8:25. I'd call the middle six pretty much a tempo with the wind in my face much of the way.
