I ran a mile warm-up, then 26 x 200 meter repetitions, with 200 meter recovery. The pace for the first 12 of them was all under 6 minute pace, then I started hitting the hills. That kept the pace at 6 minutes to 6:30 for the rest of them. I stopped concerning myself with pace, and just tried to hit the segment hard. I ran the final mile as a fast cool-down at just under 8 minutes pace. Not much wind, but a bit hot for this time of morning.
