Ran with CAROLINE at the IL state meet, which Christopher WON!!!! MY LITTLE BROTHER WAS THE ILLINOIS STATE CHAMP I CAN'T EVEN AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I'm so proud of him and I'm so glad I got to watch him run today!!! What a beautiful race-- he ran smart, let Garret do all the work, then took the lead with 800 or so to go and put 30m on the kid! Hahahaha what a legend. 14:45 and he's just amazing, wow. Happy to see his hard work paying off! 100% worth the 8 hours in the car today just to see Christopher so happy. He was close to tears... my heart. ❤️ I can't stop smiling, it's so rewarding to see this longtime goal of his come to fruition.
