Notes

Ignore my splits, my watch gets weird. I calculated the overall distance based on the differences between my watch's splits and the treadmill's mile markers.

I started this LR with the intention of running 60 minutes on the treadmill, eliptigoing for 15 minutes, and then finishing up on the indoor track for 30 minutes (for a total of 100 minutes running). I started out alright, just going on the treadmill, speeding up every mile or so, but at 53 minutes, the softball coach comes in to the fitness area and starts scolding us. I couldn't hear her at first because I had my speaker going ("Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"), but I turned it down and realized that she wanted us to stop because "the facility is closed" and it was "a liability." I tried to explain to her that our coaches had reserved the bike room, but she said that we needed to be supervised then. So we all got off the treadmills.

I just went to the indoor track and ran 32 minutes so that I was at 85. I did this with a small group of guys (including SAM P !) and it passed much more quickly than the treadmill grind had. We switched directions every five minutes.

I finished up on the bike for 25 minutes to round out my mileage. It was... an adventure? Oh, and the knee was a little stiff/ uncomfortable for the first couple of miles, but it loosened up and I barely noticed it after a while, except when we changed directions on the track.

Bummer that that craziness happened, but that's just another obstacle you climbed over. Yes! We love adventures!

And, glad your knee is getting better! Blood flow is a fantastic thing with stubborn joints and muscles :)
