40 minutes, water break, 40 minutes. 4 sprinters, 1 personal trainer, 1 kickboxing class, 1 tennis practice, and 1 Ali Ali worked out while I continued to pedal in a never-ending cycle, making no forward progress, but no backward progress; all my only concern was the heart rate monitor on my watch and thoughts of how long I would be able to endure. Music played in my headphones, but did I truly hear it?
