First 30 with Moriah and Trinity-- I love those minutes I get to spend with them-- then we joined the rest of the regionals crew. Everyone was gung ho about running past the unfenced goats again, so I said fine as long as Riley ran in between me and them. We got to watch two of them chase Sam P for a solid 3 minutes, and it was like a scene from a comic book. Then, Sam ditched the goats and the men all got on the bike path, but the goats couldn't figure it out and ran in the field next to the path. Shae and Riley decided that instead of just getting on the bike path or going straight on the route, they needed to follow the goats into the feild. Long story short, we ran 2 miles out with the goats, then had to turn around and herd them back to their house. Larry the limper got a rock in his hoof or something, but Gary was going strong. We finally got back to the road, and their momma was waiting for them in her pickup. "The buddy goats," she called them. Then they asked us if we wanted to run the goats the rest of the way back, but the goats were getting tired and slowing us down, so we declined. Plus, Larry was limping. It was an adventure. Fun and funky.
