Notes
2 parts to this run. First I wanted to do something fun and challenging. Second I wanted to train myself to run negative splits more consistently and when I'm tired. I often find that if I start a slower pace I have a hard time picking up the pace later. It's as if my body is rejecting the idea because I'm tired. I started at an 8:45/mile pace and stepped it up every half mile. Or at least I tried too. I'm not going to lie the last mile and a half was tough and up hill. My knees felt a little achy from last nights run, but nothing serious. I'll do a recovery easy run tomorrow night. Mile splits were 8:33, 8:07,7:35,7:16. Other than the crazies being out tonight it was a beautiful night for a run outside.
