Notes
A little cool and windy at first, but gradually warmed up and turned into a beautiful morning. I like longer runs where you see the weather change and the sun move in the sky during the course of your run.
This was a weirdly easy and pleasant 14 mile run, never felt difficult or too tiring. The only fly in the ointment is the old left achilles, which hurt so much when I was staggering around the house at 1AM trying to placate a chicken-poxy Ben that I thought there was no way I'd be able to run on it this morning. It was quite sore for the first 2/3 of a mile, but then eased up and went pretty quiet until after the run. I can feel it stiffening up again now. Can I take a full marathon training cycle? Tune in next month to find out.
