Notes
Merciful heavens, it was hot and humid (83% humidity). I had a Gu and brought my new hand-attached water bottle for the run. If I ever pretended to be a Cylon before, I certainly felt like one today with all my attachments.
Overall, the run was fine. I went a bit slower than 11:30, disappointed, but I felt good. No side stitches or pains.
The hardest part was walking back home. Sun beating down, covered in sweat, walking at a 20 min pace. The only thing that prevented me from laying down in a shady grassy spot was imagining a post-shower rendezvous involving ice cubes and my favorite boy.
Tomorrow, I am going EARLY to avoid the heat. 6 miles coming up!
