Had the grand opportunity to run with THE Emma spoon today, and it made my week :)
An awesome venue with great and much needed conversation, and even better company.
Tried our luck on upper palisades, as it would be a crime to travel to Decorah and not at least try to run trails. We probably could have finished without any Incidents however as good stewards of the trails, as Steve would say, we opted to abandon ship and run the pavement on the top of the bluff. One mile on trails counts, no worries spooner.
The dike was a fantastic substitute and I could have run and talked on that dike forever with my friend had our legs allowed it. Thanks for a great run Em! And shout out to the WTC Team for tearing it up at the LHF race yesterday! Awesome running folks! Studs! Perhaps next year...
