saw (no exaggeration) at LEAST 20 raccoons over the course of this bike ride. chased one for like 50 meters one time. after seeing TWENTY raccoons, there is no way you would win a fight with a SKATEBOARD. no way.
also, I literally about died on this trail (and it wasn’t even from the raccoons). I was listening to a podcast whilst going 20/21 mph and I came up to this Y in the path. the “main” path looked like it went straight but I saw my parents parked on a gravel road next to what I believed to be the secondary trail. so I took the “secondary trail”. it was getting fairly dark so I really had to concentrate on where I was going. not even kidding, if I woulda went straight, I woulda rode straight off this bridge and fell twenty feet while my feet are locked into my bike—the bridge looked like it kept going because I could somewhat see the other side, but it didn’t. THERE WAS NOT EVEN A WARNING!! seriously, straight dumb luck. God must not have my bed made yet.
