again, not sure at all how far we went. just a rough estimate. hard effort. climbed a lot. there is a 100 MILE GRAVEL ROAD RACE ON THE FOURTH OF JULY THERE. THE WINNER AVERAGED 18 MILES PER HOUR LAST YEAR!!! a fat bike placed third overall I believe. just crazy to think about going 100 miles on a bike, let alone on those gravel roads!!! I wanna do it next year just to see if I could do it. it takes like 6-9 hours. found myself on some insane single tracks. I was whooting all by myself in the woods because I was trucking on this gnarly single track and it was thrilling.
