bucked the wind on the way out. stopped after the first mile to use my brother's air pump. I have been using a hand pump to fill my road bike tires, since, well, we left school. They have been looking a little low so I decided to get them checked out. the back tire was at 30 and the front 50. they are supposed to be at 100. that is sketchy as balls. I can't believe I was hitting 36 miles per hour on a 1 inch wide-- incredibly low-- tires meeting semis just last week as my feet were locked in. that's how you die or at least see your derma if not hypodermis.
