Notes

Easy tempo on QSD, I had a sense that would have to be a shorter one and indeed it was. Pretty warm, mid 80s and sunny. There was a strong headwind on the way out, tailwind on the way back. My legs just didn't feel good, quads tight and sore. It wasn't unreasonably hard, but pretty uncomfortable given how slow it was.

A little meta-analysis... I've been feeling unmotivated, but I don't think I am actually any more unmotivated than ever - just feels that way because I am running slow. I think my runs have been slow due to three factors: 1. heat 2. sudden weight gain 3. normal cyclic nature of training... Need to take control of #2, and just stick it out for #1 & #3. In CA next week, then picking up GBTC workouts again!

Maybe try taking iron, vita-d, vita-c, vita-b12, folic acid, L-glutamine, and a scoop of peanutbutter before bed.
