First day of my training plan was a success! Nice and easy run on a very warm day. Ran up to ECAV and did a half hour with Shannon, tacked on a mega loop and then headed home. Trying to keep a few things in mind from JK for regular easy runs: stay on soft surfaces as possible (he recommends I think that 50(?)% of easy mileage be done on soft surfaces; keep moving at stoplights etc; and keep up a fairly quick cadence.
