Notes

Day hike w/ Shannon on the Franconia Ridge Traverse, woke up earlyish and got to the Lafayette Place trailhead by 9. Climbed to the top of Mt Haystack, then from there along the ridge to Mt Lafayette via Mt Lincoln. Took the Greenleaf trail down to the Old Bridle Path and followed that back to the start. Very fun! Took a little over 7 hours (including breaks and such), the hike was somewhere between 8 and 9 miles depending on where you look. It was very scenic (especially the Falling Waters trail) and the traverse along the ridge was really cool, although unfortunately it was very foggy at the top so there wasn't much of a view. Legs were sore from yesterday, but this was still manageable and didn't feel too bad - we weren't going fast. 10/10, would hike again!
