Notes

Drake 1/2 marathon, run at marathon race pace for training. GU at around 20 min and 60 min. Only water on course, no sports drink. Kept pace down, legs and breathing felt really good. Very hilly course, lots of wind and around 40 degrees, tights and 2 layers on top w/ long sleeve outer. Garmin stopped recording for a mile or so in the middle so was unsure of pace, ended up running faster than planned (7:30 planned). Felt really good the last to miles so ran a 6:54 and 6:32 without pushing very hard. Hope I feel this good for marathon in 3 weeks!
