This run started out pretty shitty. I thought I was going to crash and burn @ the first 20 minutes, I felt weak and had no energy. But as I got rolling, things loosened up and I began to go. I got into a rythm and went with it. I was averaging 6:35-6:40ish mile for the first half. When it came time for the progression, I gradually picked it up. For the first bit of the progression I was around 6:00 min pace, then I dropped it to around 5:50 and then 5:40. For the last 2.5 miles, I was going tempo pace (5:30ish). My last mile of the progression was 5:25. I used the last 8 minutes of the run to cool down. I am very pleased how well the run went today!! I was not looking forward to the run today, and thought I would be in pieces by the end...but instead I felt like I could have gone 2 more mile.
