8 miles @5:30-40 (3 mile warm-up/cool-down). Starting the year off with a workout on Marshall. It seems to be the only reliably clear stretch of road. It was a cool morning (about 25 degrees), with barely a breeze. I ran with Jacob and the effort wasn't too great that we were able to chat every now and then. We did out and backs so had a half dozen 180 degree turns thrown in there. The way up wasn't too bad but it was challenging enough that talking was on a momentary pause. Did 3 circuits of the road and pretty much nailed the pace. Stomach is a mess from having a few drinks last night.
