T80; H51; DP59: The waist band water belt worked out well. It felt good not having a weight at the end of my arm. Last night I wore a "pressure band" around my left leg just below the knee. The leg felt better during the night. I wore the band during the run. The leg felt better. The run wasn't long enough for a good test; But it did seem to help.
Again, I had planned a longer run today, but my heart rate and the heat worked against me. I just couldn't catch my breath. My heart rate was above 200 by the 2nd mile. By the end of 4.5 miles, I just couldn't breath. I gave up and walked home. Since this was such short run, I'll run again tomorrow.
