Notes
T70: I had planned to run the full 3.1 after my swim and bike, so that I would have practiced the entire triathlon. However, I had to go to the bathroom, and had to quickly find a place. The nearest places were back at the starting line, rather than in the residential areas, or highway. I just wanted to see what my legs would feel like after he full ride. They felt fine--A little rubbery for the first .25 mile, then ok. In fact, I had to remind myself to slow down, in order to reserve my legs for the hills. I would have had no problems finishing the 3.1.
I didn't swim the full .25 mile today. I did half of that, and forgot to turn on the Garmin. It is much more difficult to ride after the swim, than to run after the ride (so far anyway). I was totally whipped after the little swim. I had no leg strength left. And of course, there is a .4 mile hill as soon as we make the first turn. I don't know how I got up that hill--or any other for that matter.
