Today was perfect running weather, so I ran 16 miles. I bypassed the 15 miles altogether, because I didn't want to fall behind schedule. I did the long run a little early in the week, but the weather will be cold with thunderstorms most of the week. I can fit in shorter runs between the storms, but I doubt that I could get in a long run by early next week.

Cool weather, a bit of iron, and sodium truly made a difference. I had enough energy left for a few more miles--but I'm glad I didn't have to run them. I had to make a pit stop between the 8th & 9th mile. And I had to stop a few times to fill my water bottle. My legs were stiff each time I had to start, but loosened up along the way. I might have been able to run faster for the 16, but I wanted to be sure to get it in, so I did it slow and easy.
