T72; H69; DP59; W23 SW: I set the alarm to get out early to see if I could get an LSD run in today, since I couldn't do it yesterday. It was still pouring out, so I went back to bed. I wanted to see if the icing I did to my lower back last night, and then again this morning, would help my "wooden-leg" syndrome. It did help--or at least I didn't have the problem when I ran today. I didn't have time to do an LSD run after the rain stopped; But I did want to take my back out for a spin, to see how I felt. I felt GREAT. I didn't push myself to run faster, but my speed was up considerably without even trying. It's a wonder what the body can do when it's not fighting itself. Since I didn't have time for a longer run, I don't know how long the leg would hold out after icing my back. It will be raining for the next few days, so I doubt I'll get much running in. If I do, they'll be short. So I'll try to work on speed and form.
