Long run yesterday was excellent however it was too late in the day and I couldn't sleep last night. Today I had a new problem. My R upper hamstring into my glutes were tight and very sore. Prior to today, all my issues have been in my upper L leg. In addition to this new problem, my lower back has been very sore Xs 3 days. Again, something new.
My plan for long runs in the weeks to come, is to run at 11:00am, which will be the time of the Boston Marathon (noon eastern time).
Also, I plan to lose between 4 and 6 lbs before the race and the diet begins on 1 March!
Tonights run really helped alleviate the pain in my Upper R legs, but I didn't have much energy and 3 was enough. I wanted more, but I'm trying to listen to my body and adjust when I can (without missing a day, with a 3 mile minimum).
