Strava: "My wound specialist gave approval to start running again. I'm going to stick with the treadmill for the next week and try and build distance and pace again and then try a 5K next Saturday. It was pretty sore during the run but I'll chalk that up to atrophy and de-training.

I'm also well aware now that had I followed advice that this wouldn't heal without medical intervention, I might be mostly past this by now.

But old habits die hard. Lesson learned!"
