I almost forgot how beautiful the trails at the Ridge were.
I would have minded forgetting how hard they were...
First time I was on trails since the fall. Ankle was OK, but not great - when the trail sloped away to the right, I was leery of rolling my ankle & toed out a lot. Definitely not normal form. Thick mud concerned me as well.
I'm glad I was able to survive it, but am nowhere near as confident/capable as on the road. I really hope the ankle can come back on it's own.
