Got up early & banged out my long road miles before the trails. When I calculated when I needed to start/get up, it got a little tempting to not do it, but I stuck it out.
Route was hilly & relentless. The downhills didn't feel like they added up to the uphills. Good to get the climbing in though & get used to it.
Ankle doesn't look much more swollen than it's been to me, but it was commented upon. Aside from that, I actually don't feel too bad at all, but was dogging it at the end of the trail run after.
