Weee!
What an awesome weekend. Running in the rain in the half up and down Lakeshore Drive. We ran a bit on the lakefront waiting for the race, then jumped in around mile 5. Ran mostly with Ali and Rachel O, who jumped off at 57th. I ran down to the end (at the Golden Lady), then back up on Stony and Harper for an 80-min run plus 5 minutes of strides. Felt smooth and fast today. The last three miles were challenging to keep pace on, but not impossible and I felt like I built up speed consistently from the beginning starting off around 7:30s.
