Same idea as last week. First lap easy then the second lap at tempo pace. The session is somewhere between a tempo run and a fartlek. Didn't feel smooth on the 1st lap but was ok ish at the start of the 2nd. Didn't feel comfortable running at the faster pace and I think my pace dropped from time to time and I had to remind myself to speed up a bit. Not unusual for a first speed session. It will probably take a few of the runs for me to get used to them :) Half way through the fast lap I was blowing hard and feeling the heat a bit. Legs not responding and I would question how fast I was actually gpimng by the time I ground to a halt at the end of the lap. Pretty wrecked and ended up walking/jogging home. Will definitely come on for this run - the first couple are always murder !!!
No GPS watch so distances guessed...
