Only 20 lengths but happy to build slowly and get my technique right
New plan regarding swimming... Planning to go to the pool more regularly (2 - 3 mornings a week) and focus purely on technique. I think the endurance and the distance covered will improve gradually as I spend more time in the pool so really have to focus on getting my stroke mechanics right from the start. On youtube and 3 things that I'm trying to get right regarding the stroke:
1 - Head down to keep my body straight in the water - this will help keep my feet higher in the water as well
2 - Elbow higher than hand at start of stroke, reach and glide and pull back the water with a bent arm (almost 90 degrees)
3 - Roll from side to side during the stroke to generate more power...
