Notes

Pretty uneventful run, but a smart one.

Original plan: 9:00 9:00 8:45 8:45 8:30 and the rest between 8:15-8:30

pretty close to that and a strong finish.

Citrus & Strawberry Blocks every 2 miles for 15 miles and an option for every mile the final 5.

2 bottles of G2, but I only needed 1 and didn't quite finish it.

Started out on the Harper Rd hoping to catch as much of the shoulder as I could and if nothing else I would have a soft surface on the KeWash for the final 10. New gravel on the south side, now. So not much but hard concrete to run on most of the time. Very few cars out and only saw a few walkers when I got into town along with Stiebe on his front porch. Good to have at least one person out there for encouragement.

6 Mile time today: 53:07 10K at Grandmas 50:10

1/2 Marathon time was 1:53:32. At Grandmas 1:46:56

Mile 16 today was 2:17:42 16.2 At Grandmas 2:14:17

Mile 19 today was 2:41:27 19.2 at Grandmas 2:42:21

What can we learn from this? I can tell you without a doubt I felt a lot better at mile 20 today than I did in Duluth at mile 20. 8:30 pace for 6 more miles...easily today. Would have put me around 3:41-42.

My final 5 miles were my fastest of the entire run.
