Ran 16 miles in 2:04:48.14 (7:48.0 min./mi.) Today's plan, 16 miles @ 7:50 min./mi.

Boy did that first mile hurt! The right Achilles (tendonitis) was really sore and tight, took about five miles to "mostly" go away. Even after Sunday's (02/02) 3:18 treadmill marathon my legs felt strong today and there was plenty left in the tank at the end. If I do decide to run a Spring marathon I can tell it won't take long to get race ready, six or eight weeks tops. Barring injury, I can easily see a sub three-hour marathon in the Fall.
