My plan was to go out at around a 9 minute/mile pace. Well, I ended up starting out at 8:45 and decided to just stick with it and see how long I could hold it up. I am happy to say that I managed to hold that up for the duration. Mile 13, I ran an 8:30mile. Overall race goal was 1:59:59, smashed that out of the park. PR by more than 11 minutes. Forgot to stop my Garmin at the finish so it added a little extra time and distance as I was walking around. I modified that with the offical race results.
