Very good run for first 20 miler of the training plan. After a couple lousy days, really felt great during this run. Especially felt strong during the third hour. Ran from the Falls Bridge to home in under 58 minutes and felt strong to the end, but really felt strong throughout the run and kept up a fairly consistent pace the entire way. Physically, did not feel anything at all during the run to note, other than my hands being really really cold without gloves, especially in the middle miles on Forbidden Drive. Took Gu every 40 minutes and water every 20 minutes. Some light drizzle during the run, but mostly just overcast. Woke up at 4:30 a.m., ate oatmeal at about 4:45 a.m., left to run at about 6:45 a.m. Ate vegetables for lunch (with black bean soup and a few cheese/crackers) and spaghetti for early dinner (plus an orange and a little cereal around 9:00 p.m.). Splits: 1:35:49 out (9:22.25 pace for 10.225 miles), 1:30:25 in (8:53.17 pace for 10.175 miles).
