my goal was to run this at a harder effort level than I did at NYC, since I was told River Cities showed that I could have gone harder then. I was really hurting the entire run and I don't think I could have put any more into it. I heard several people say their Garmins measured the course as 6.4, so it might have been a little long. I'd feel a little better about my time if it was that. I expected with a pancake-flat course and trying the racing flats to be faster than my NYC pace
wore new racing flats, no socks. my heels, especially the left, are a little sore after running in them. I'm not sure if I can run more than 10km in that light of a shoe (6 oz vs, my usual 12 oz trainers)
drank 2 sips of water & one Gatorade from the course.
