Katy Trail 5k
Not sure what was up. I'm really frustrated with this time. Based on my tempo runs, I thought I'd be around 20:40. I tried taking the fist mile easier because I knew there was the big hill at the start of mile 2. by half way through the race, my stomach hurt so badly that I debated stopping and walking. It's still hurting this morning. I even skipped the post-race food. I'm not sure if the high HR caused it to start hurting or if it hurt already. Maybe the warmer temps that I'm not used to yet played a factor?
