had a powergel and some water before running. don't do many longer bricks, so wanted to see how my stomach feels with a gel in it off the bike. no problems today, at least
effort felt easy, but HR seemed out of whack. I didn't feel like I was pushing hard at all, which puzzled me. It was the hottest run i've done in a long time, and I was sweating buckets, so I wasn't sure if My HR was truely that high, or if it was just bad readings on the Garmin. I backed off the effort and tried finding what shade I could on the way back in, though.
