warm and humid with rain on the way. The track was crowded with volleyball players, high schoolers, and some other run/tri group, but I was running alone because the only other fit2trainers were Spooner who was doing strides and then Mikey & Fernando who came late.
My calves felt a little tired this morning. i was a little unsure after the first two if i should do the full 10, but then they seemed to work out, and i was ok. I tried to keep a relaxed effort that i could maintain repeatedly. This time I made the lap time visible so i could watch and try to force myself to do the 200 recoveries on 80 seconds. it seemed painfully slow. My stomach started rumbling on the 8th effort, but i was able to hold it for the next two. Almost had to cut short my cooldown lap at the end, though.
