Doc appoint on Friday in Indy at Methodist Sports Medicine. I was basically looking for some verification of my own diagnosis and was hoping for a professional OK to begin/continue training.
Fibular head is fine and stable and my diagnosis of tendonitis/osis was good. Aside from some knee crepitus (which I've had as long as I can remember - and which has improved some) the doc gave me the ok to continue my progression.
The never issues are almost surely due to some inflammation and my massaging.
He did stress a very gradual return and agreed that my strength training was an important thing to include going forward.
The best thing however was my lack of problems at Saturday's event which makes me feel like I'll be back at a decent mileage in another month or so.
