Temp 75 Wind 10 mph.
Settled on 5 repetitions. 200 / 400 / 200 / 400 / 200. Equal distance recovery jogs in between. Not feeling recovered as much as I thought would be the case as of this morning. Game-time decision to take target down a few seconds from McMillan to 5K pace.
200 (1) - 0:48 Spot on 5K pace.
400 (1) - 1:33 1st 200 meters spot on 5K pace, little fast (3 sec.) on finish. McMillan range 1:29 - 1:32, so I'm still good.
200 (2) - 0:48 Another direct hit.
400 (2) - 1:35 Better, only once second off. One second fast on last 200 meters.
200 (3) - 0:46 Two seconds fast for 5K.
Felt like I could go another round immediately. Pretty much a by-the-book workout. I'm happy.
