CNS Track Day. Couple of outdoor runs in shorts and have not worn a coat since Tuesday. Feeling enough acclimation to do this on the track. Know it will not possible to be "A Fast". 110% focus on being A+ Good.

Take a 2+ mile route to track, then do two laps of surges on the straights with walk recoveries on the turns, then two more with surges on the straights and jog recovery on the turns. NNW wind is biggest issue. Getting through south turn, then getting reset and holding form into a slight cross headwind will take some work.

Run through a workout of 4 x 200 with 200 jogs, then 4 x 400 with 200 jogs. Have on two pair of gloves and not interested in wrestling with the lap button every few seconds. Only time selected intervals to make sure all are even or progressive. 1st 200 = 7:01. 1st 400 = 6:58. 4th 400 = 6:54. First 200 was probably the fastest and was thinking about bailing until rejuvenated by first and second 400. Got to rolling. Suspected longer intervals might be easier than a bunch of stop/starts in the cold/wind. Maybe not A+ Good, but no worse than A- Good.

Two mile route back to the house. Another penny.
