Isle of Whithorn to St Ninian's cave along the coastal path (actually from Burrow Head). St Ninian was the first Christian missionary to Scotland, and retreated to the cave above a cobbly beach from time to time. Cave obvious from afar, but actually just a tiny crevice. Cliff top had a few cows w calves to keep us nervous; some precipitatious narrow sections a above high cliffs below. Lovely path.
