Riverside walk along the River Wharfe from Bolton Abbey up to Barden Bridge, and then down to the stepping stones (we went over the bridge ...). Busy in the sunshine! Something of a contrast to yesterday's walk! Kingfisher x 2, lots of sand martins swooping over the river - and also about 20 goosanders on the river in Burnsall.
Swam in the small hotel pool rather than the river! Feeling quite grotty with cold. Shocking news that Matthew Armstrong, head of King's Worcester, died suddenly of a pulmonary embolism aged 48.
