Notes

Decent run today, I did a little fartlek type workout. I warmed up the first three miles at 6:07, 6:11, 6:12, then I went straight into 400m surges(72, 67, 65, 67, 72, 66, 65, 65) with 400m jogging rests (1:33, 1:31, 1:34, 1:32, 1:42, 1:39, 1:35) and then cooled down with a little under 4 miles: 6:01, 5:55, 5:53, and 5:39pace (for the last 0.71mi). I wanted to do 12 x400m surges but I just decided to do 8 because my hamstrings were dead already and the rest of my legs felt like crap just starting the run. They surges themselves weren't that hard, I just decided to take it a bit easier in light of the progression run in a couple days, but I still wanted to get SOMETHING in. There was quite a bit of wind on the back stretch though, which you can tell by the random 72s haha.
