Really nice campground with excellent clean bathrooms to start our hike in the rain today. We passed by this trail when going to Albright loop yesterday and noticed that there was a waterfall. After further investigation into the trail we decided to try this one rain or shine. Well the rain held off until a few minutes after we reached the falls but the view was amazing. The falls were well worth the short hike and the trail is one I would love to go back to again. Beautiful Old forest. We saw our second snake which was a little camera shy but I think he was a Yellow Rat snake. Great 3 days of Smoky Mountain trails!
