First time running after dropping Charlotte off at daycare. It worked well. I can definitely do this regularly as long as the early waking doesn't get me.
Tempo run on the schedule for today. Goal was 4 miles at 7:20 pace. First mile was uphill and quite painful. Rest was fine. Felt harder than the 8 at 7:40 on Sunday, but still not terribly bad.
Warmup: 2.25 mi in 20:06 (8:56/mi)
Tempo: 4.02 mi in 29:09 (7:16/mi)
Cooldown: 2.04 mi in 17:04 (8:22/mi)
