This workout went better than I expected. It's actually a little below par for the pace I have been targeting for 6 mile tempos (6:45), but I'm pleased that I ran it at 6:49 pace under the conditions. My HR was low during the warmup mile, but I was sure the humidity would catch up with me. It didn't, really. I didn't hit quite as high of an HR as I normally should for this workout.
This workout tracks fairly closely to the first 6-7 miles of my recent 10-mile race.
