This trail was highly recommended on several websites I checked out before arriving as well as a few books I saw while in Sedona. The trail is rated "strenuous" and is 2.4 miles long (one way). The first 0.25 miles was flat but the elevation change for the next 2.15 miles was 1,800 feet. Terrific views at the top and included the cities of Sedona and Cottonwood, the Sedona Airport Mesa, and the San Francisco Peaks in Flagstaff, AZ which were about 30 miles away.
