Morning shakeout. Felt good. I think my brain is broken, I don't understand how these runs can be so slow.

Lol I think I am perfectly regressing backwards through the summer. First week averaged 6:30s and did a 14+ mile run @ 6:18 easily. Halfway through, averaging ~7:15s and run 5:35 pace for 10k. Now, regularly running 7:30+ and struggle to run under 5:40s for a broken 30' tempo.

Ok a dose of perspective - when I did my run of 100 mi weeks back in November, I was regularly running 7:15+ in Pembroke (pancake flat) and Troy (still probably a little flatter than here). The point being that I'm probably running slow because of the mileage; I guess I'd hoped that after 2 months of running 90+ mpw I would be totally used to it, but I guess that's really not that long. Maybe will be adjusted in a few more weeks...

I mean, some days I feel pretty tired and somedays less so. It's an easy effort in that I haven't really been pushing easy days whether I feel good or bad
