Notes

Ran 4578.1 miles in 2014, well over goal of 4100. Almost 700 miles more than last year. Averaged 12.54 miles / day, 88 mpw - no missed days.

Goals for the year were:

Average 80 mpw for the year ----- Yes!

Sub 4:30 mile ----- 4:30.25 @ Brockport BUT 4:07.6 1500 == 4:28.48 mile

Sub 8:50 3k ------ No!

9:40 steeple ------ No! (Darnit)

Top 2 @ LLs ------ Yes!

Place at states ----- eh, 8th

Have a great summer running in CA -----I'd say so!

Be in the habit of doubling weekdays ------ By my tally, doubled 205 of 260 weekdays ~ 79%, so Yes!

Top 7 in cross ----- Yes!

Year Highlights...

Strong finish to the indoor season (4:30 @ Brockport, 8:59 to score at LLs, dece 9:02 @ States)... strong start to the outdoor season (9:48 win @ Engineers Cup)...plus good 15/8 double and 5k... fun 4th of July 10k over the summer (34:43)... Good run of races in xc from Paul Short on...

An unfortunate start to the New Year, what with being sick and all, but will be back at it any hour now. Goals for the year:

Score at LLs & States Indoors and Outdoors (win outdoor LLs, top 3 @ states); make ECACs indoor and outdoors; sub 4:25 mile; sub 8:45 3k; sub 9:30 steeple, sub 15:30 5k, sub 4:05 1500. Some round number targets, may not necessarily line up perfectly.

After spring track I will probably have to reassess what I want to shoot for, but for now I'll set some tentative goals of:

Win a GD t-shirt at the Brew Run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sub 2:40 @ Mohawk-Hudson Marathon if we end up doing it

PR @ SPAC (whatever the distance)
